PP councillor poses nude for magazine

She is vying for the award of Miss Lepe Urbano in the town where she is Deputy Mayor. Opposition parties say they support her decision
The opposition Socialist Party at Lepe Town Hall, in Huelva province say they support a Partido Popular councillor who posed in the nude for a local magazine.
A photo of MarÃa Dolores Jiménez, Deputy Mayor for Economy, appears on the front cover of the magazine ‘Lepe Urbano,’ whose January edition was published on Thursday. Another picture appears on the inside pages, in the section ‘Miss Lepe Urbana,’ an annual award to the man and woman their readers vote the best-looking in the town.
Jiménez is naked in both pictures.
Support for her decision has also come from the Partido Andalucista. Both they and the Socialists say the photos are tasteful , and that they respect her decision.
Voting for Miss and Mister Lepe Urbana takes place throughout the year, with candidates having the chance to win 500 € each.

How come it is ok for one woman to pose nude (because she belongs to a
political party?), and not another (who comes from a village). Seems like
there is a double standard at work here.

It's a very tastefull picture.
Why shouldn't she join the contest, just because she's deputy mayor ??? She's just another candidate for the contest.
And as for her political responsibilities; she's done a great job getting the attention that will boost the local economy. Thumbs up.
