A 47 year old mountaineer from Madrid has died in a climbing accident in the Himalayas.
Guillermo Mateo Yeste died on Friday, when he was descending the Ama Dablam Peak, in the Nepalese Himalayas, which is known for being one of the most inaccessible peaks in the world.
Rescue services are hoping to retrieve his body by helicopter, as the terrain in the area where he fell is extremely difficult to reach on foot.
The Nepalese authorities are also searching for two other mountaineers who disappeared on Monday while descending Ama Dablan.
They are Duncan Williams, from Britain, and Mingma Nuru Sherpa, from Nepal.
