Judge investigating off-plan development after nothing has been built in five years

A Málaga judge is investigating allegation of fraud against a well known real estate company, Grupo Mirador, who sold an off-plan development in Rincón de la Victoria in 2002.

Five years later the development is still not started and does not even have the necessary licences to build.

It’s thought that about 20 families are caught up in the case, one of whom has placed a formal complaint to the courts.

The instruction judge has granted bail of 40,000 € against the company representative, Leopoldo Faura.

The company claims the delay has been caused only by the demands of Rincón de la Victoria town hall.
