Princess Letizia was absent from the service becuase of her pregnancy

Princess Letizia was absent from the traditional mass attended by the other members of the Spanish Royal Family on Easter Sunday in Palma de Mallorca.
The reason for her absence was her advanced pregnancy.

The Dukes and Duchesses of Lugo and Palma were in attendance which has become a Royal tradition over recent years.

The King was asked during the mass taken by Monseñor Jesús Murgui, to continue to be the ‘carrier of the dreams of the Spanish people and the motor for their development’.

Hundreds of well-wishers turned up outside the Cathedral to greet the Royal party, while inside some 3,000 were in attendance.
