Police in Spain are seeking help from the public in tracking down the six most wanted members of ETA, who are all believed to belong to operational commandos within the terrorist organisation.

The six have been named as Joseba Mikel Olza Puñal, Eneko Zarrabeitia Salterain, Aitzol Etxaburu Arteche, Leire López Zurutuza, Saoia Sánchez Iturregui, and Ander Múgica Andonegui.

This last was recently confirmed as the terrorist who abandoned a car containing explosives near the border with Portugal, in Ayamonte, Huelva province, on 21st June, and also the man who jumped out of a taxi at a road block in Castellón 10 days ago, escaping capture by police.
He left a rucksack in the taxi containing detonators and other explosive material.

Múgica is 24 years old and is from San Sebastián, and was charged with kale barroka street violence in 2002. Police believe he had received instructions to carry out some form of terrorist attack.

Two contact numbers are given for anyone with any information: for the National Police, on 900 100 091, and for the Civil Guard, on 900 100 062.

Both lines are free of charge.
