Donald Trump Jr. looking for hotel partners in Madrid

The son of United States multi-millionaire, Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., says he is looking for a Spanish partner to open a five star hotel in Madrid. He says he wants to redefine the concept of luxury in the Spanish capital and the project follows previous hotel complexes already opened in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Panama, Toronto and Seúl.

Reports say that Mr Trump has already held upto five meetings with different constructors and Spanish real estate companies to discuss the project which is expected to consist of a large skyscraper. He says the project is not affected by the current financial crisis because his clients will be luxury ones. One of his comments made in Madrid for the record books – ‘The weakness of the dollar is exciting to me’.

The United States developer revealed the plans to the general public at the Salón Inmobiliario real estate trade fair currently on in Madrid, and said that he has not ruled out building also in Barcelona.
