Pirate TV arrests across the country

85 people have been arrested across the country in connection with the illegal distribution of pay television signals, several of them in Alicante.
Hotel owners, local cable TV operators and television and antenna installers have been arrested in the operation which has also looked at several urbanisations and communities.
Police say 115 decoders have been impounded in the operation which it’s estimated was defrauding the programmers several million €. Arrests were made in the provinces of Málaga, Sevilla, Cantabria, León, Granada and Alicante.
