A case of road rage where the car wouldn’t start has been seen in Málaga. A street sweeper, named as José A. was set upon by a driver in the Puerto de la Torre area after he refused to try and help the man in his 20’s to get his car to start.

‘He threw me against a wall and started to hit me round the head with an iron bar’, claims the victim who works for the Limasa company in the city.

After the car driver, now identified as David R.C. managed to get the vehicle to start, he went looking for the 56 year old road sweeper and than ran him down. Press reports say the aggressor remains at large.

Doctors say that it is a miracle that the man survived the attack which took place early last Saturday morning. He had suffered a fractured skull and several broken ribs as well as a punctured lung and serious other injuries.

José has spent three days in intensive care and only now remembers what happened. He told La Opinion de Málaga that what amazes him is that his attacker was young enough to be his son, and that he had come to kill him.
