A cold front will affect Spain from tomorrow, Thursday, bringing cloud, some rain and lower temperatures to all the country with the exception of the Mediterranean coastline.
The unseasonal weather will remain until Saturday when once again the temperatures will recover and the sun will return.
The North of the country will be the area most affected by the mass of high cold air, especially Cantabria where storms are now forecast.
A spokesman from the Spanish Meteorological Office, AEMAT, Ángel Ribera, said that such a cold front was more normally seen in Autumn than in Summer, and was caused by high westerly winds. If it happened in the Autumn it would mean heavy rains, but in summer the moisture at lower levels was not sufficient for that.
