Málaga has the cheapest ‘menu del día’ in Spain according to a new report from the OCU Organisation of Consumers and Users. The average price for a typical menu of two dishes, and drink is 7 € 55 while the national average is 9 € 50.
The survey looked at the prices of 400 menus in 100 restaurants in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Vigo, Zaragoza and Málaga.
However researchers discovered that although Málaga was the cheapest, none of the menus there included a pudding, and oddly there was never a salt cellar on the table.
