A new storm is now affecting Spain’s weather and bringing more rain and high winds, and snow in some areas, but it will not be as cold as earlier this week.

The new cold front is entering from the NE of the peninsular and will move across the country over the weekend.
Maximum temperatures can be expected to increase by some four degrees in most areas as a result on Saturday.
The snow line will be around 1,000m in both the north and south of the country.
The strong winds continue, but milder as they veer from northerly to westerly.

Yesterday Málaga saw the coldest daytime high seen in the city since 1969, just 9.8 degrees. Many tourists and locals headed to the El Torcal area to enjoy the snow which had fallen.
