Partido Popular leader says he knows what he is doing

The leader of the Partido Popular opposition, Mariano Rajoy, last night defended his style of opposition after some criticism from the far right, in the shape of Esperanza Aguirre, the P.P. President of the Madrid region.

She was present at the event in Ciempozuelos Madrid, where Rajoy said he was well aware of, and knew what he is doing. He said the party would continue to oppose the government and suggest alternatives.

It comes after Rajoy supported the Government in their declarations of no talks with ETA, while Aguirre had commented that she thought Zapatero wanted to restart talks, and also after Rajoy was booed at a P.P. Rally in Asturias last month.
