Police take off the handcuffs in Nerja

A young British girl asked for help from the police in Nerja on Wednesday to remove a set of handcuffs which she had attached to her ankle. The girl, who lives in nearby Maro, first said she did not know how the cuffs got there, but then admitted that it had been some friends who had attached them, although they had done so as a joke and without malice. There was no key, but luckily the local police recognised the cuffs as a model they used in the 80’s and one of the policemen found a key to open them.
