14 year old Spanish bullfighter recovering in Mexico

The 14 year old Spanish bullfighter, Jairo Miguel, who was seriously gored in Mexico last week is making what doctors call a miraculous recovery.

He was rushed into surgery with his lung literally in his hand after be was repeatedly gored by a 400 kilo bull splitting two ribs and missing his heart by a centimetre.

Now he is considered to be out of danger.

The incident has caused controversy for the children who are bullfighting in Mexico. One of the top names Rafita Maraball is just nine years old.

In Spain there is a 16 year old age limit, which is why Jairo Miguel went to Mexico two years ago.
