Doñana Iberian Lynx to be vaccinated

The Iberian Lynx in the Doñana Nature Park are to be vaccinated.
It follows the death of three of the cats because of a viral infection over the past two months.
Researchers are concerned that it could turn into an epidemic.
The vaccinations will be carried out by technicians from the Environment department of the Regional Council who expect to vaccinate the 50 or so Lynx which currently survive in the park.
The Iberian Lynx is the most endangered species in Spain, with only 160 thought to be still living in the wild.
