Another 42 immigrants have arrived in the port of Los Cristianos in Tenerife in the early hours of this morning. The travellers were all from Sub-Sahara Africa, and are generally in a good state of health. Their boat had been spotted from the air when 80 miles off shore.

Another ten, but all of them children, arrived on the Punta Negra beach at Albuñol, Granada on the Costa Tropical on the mainland yesterday afternoon.
The nine men and one women are aged 12 – 16 and were found walking on the beach by the Civil Guard. Somehow their boat was not detected by the SIVE high tech system, and the authorities think that as many as ten others could have made their escape on foot.
