The amount of attention that the filming in Barcelona by Woody Allen is getting in the media has divided the political groups in the city.

The PP member Àngels Esteller, says the Government has made the shooting into a spectacle, while the Deputy Mayor, Carles Martí, has responded to that by saying she is a liar.

Esteller says the spectacle being formed is more like that which could be expected in a small provincial town, not a cosmopolitan capital. She claimed everyone in the Government wanted to have their photo taken with the director.

Martí responded to that by noting that the City Hall had invested a million € in the production.

Meanwhile Allan continues to shoot, oddly just round the corner from the City Hall.
