The town of Pulpí has beaten its own record for the world’s biggest salad, and will enter the Guinness Book of Records for the second time with a salad weighing 6,700 kilos. Their previous record was 4,800.
The mega salad, put together by a team of 25 over a period of more than three hours, was made up seven different types of lettuce and three of tomatoes, plus hundreds of kilos of onions, cucumbers, peppers and olives, all of it carefully mixed together in a specially-built container six metres wide and 17 metres long.
