Auction for Jesús Gil Rolls Royce decided on Thursday

A decision is made at Marbella Town Hall on Thursday on the bids presented in the auction for the Rolls Royce which belonged to the late Mayor, Jesús Gil y Gil. It’s an eight cylinder 1992 Silver Spur, and the reserve price is 34,650 €.

It’s now municipal property, and it’s understood three bids have been presented: two from companies, and the third from a private individual.

The management committee which ran the town for a year following the Town Hall’s dissolution in 2006 tried to sell the car last year, together with a BMW X5 which was used by the later Mayor, Marisol Yagüe, but the auction was called off after no bids were presented.
