High speed on foot

42 first class passengers on the AVE high speed train from Madrid to Málaga on Friday afternoon had to spend part of the journey on foot or in the cafeteria.

The company has apologised for what it says was a computer error which resulted in 42 seats being sold twice on the 4,35pm train.

An investigation has been opened, and all those effected had their ticket price returned.
