Two deaths in knife fights in Spain this weekend

A sixteen year old boy from Venezuela has died in hospital after a fight involving 25 people in Rubí, Barcelona province, on Saturday night, which began on Calle San Miguel in the town, where the group had met up to attend a party.

He was stabbed a number of times, and police have arrested six people in connection with his murder. One of them is the man believed to have wielded the knife, named as 20 year old Alexis Emmanuel C.M., who is Dominican and lives in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Two of the remaining suspects taken into custody are also juveniles, and it’s understood that they and the remaining three are all from Ecuador.

There was another fight in Andalucía this weekend, outside a games arcade in Huelva City on Friday night. It saw the death of a 28 year old man named as C.M.O., who was stabbed in the side and died in the ambulance on the way to hospital. Two brothers have been arrested in connection with his death, and one of them is in hospital with serious injuries.
