Speculation is continuing about a possible move of Fernando Alonso to Ferrari next Seaton. It follows the poor performance of the R28 new Renault car, with the driver from Asturias admitting that he can only hope for a few points in the next race in Bahrain and that it was a frustrating position to be in. He admitted that the car has seen no improvement since the last race.

‘It is frustrating when you are the driver with most wins in Bahrain with two of the four races held there for you, and you arrive this year and on the Thursday, before even getting into the car, you know that the objective is just to be between sixth and tenth to try and get some points.
Alonso commented that contracts were flexible, despite his signing for Renault for two years.

In an exclusive interview published in El Mundo newspaper this morning, Alonso says he wants a winning car, in Ferrari or elsewhere.

Meanwhile Michael Schumacher has commented that Alonso will not be racing for Ferrari next season. What happened in 2010, he said he could not say.
