The Ministry of the Environment is proposing to purchase a plot of land next to the N340 coastal road in Los Yesos, Granada, so that construction work to build 40 homes on the site can be demolished.
The builder concerned, Ibáñez Molero, has told El País that the company are studying the Ministry’s offer because the price is reasonable, although they refused to say how much it was. The flats were set to be completed by the summer of next year, but with the slow down in the real estate market perhaps the promoter is now more likely to accept the Ministry’s offer.
The construction has been denounced by the Granada office of Ecologistas en Acción.
