1931: Doña Victoria Eugenia and her children, Don Alfonso the Prince of Asturias, the Infantes Don Jaime and Don Gonzalo, and the Infantas Doña Beatriz and Doña María Cristina, are the first of the Spanish Royal Family to arrive in Paris for exile in France.
The Spanish painter, Francisco de Goya, died on this day in 1828 in his home in France, and the singer-songwriter, Nino Bravo, died in a traffic accident in Cuenca in 1973 at the age of 28.
