A plague of rabbits has been destroying a cemetery in Ávila in Spain, and making the graves into a warren.
The green group on the local council has called on the City Hall to take urgent measures, following complaints from local residents.
Spokesman for Los Verdes, Pedro Tomé, told 20 minutos that ‘a plague like this does not happen overnight, and cannot be allowed to continue in an area which is so sensitive for some abulenses’. He wants controls placed on the rabbits, and the damage repaired immediately.
