A 25 year old Spaniard caused a delay on a flight from Málaga to Edinburgh on Tuesday by shouting ‘We are all going to die today’ as the plane was ready for take of.
Such was the effect in the cabin that the Capitan decided to delay the take off, which finally took place an hour an a half later.
The man was among the passengers who did finally take off, but four others decided to get off the plane as they were too frightened.
A Málaga airport spokesman told El País that he did not understand how the plane Capitan allowed the man concerned to continue with his journey, as the usual procedure would have been to ask him to get off. He and his luggage were thoroughly searched before the flight finally set off.
