Manchester United escaped from the Nou Camp with a 0-0 draw last night in the first leg of the Champions League Semi-final against Barcelona. Barça had as much as 80% of the play in the first half with Manchester dangerous on the break, and with Christian Ronaldo missing from the penalty spot in just the third minute.
According to the official statistics, United had only one shot on goal, and only Scholes and Ronaldo showed a willingness to attack.
The Camp Nou has been far from generous for Barça of late, especially in the league, with the last two league games also ending goalless and taking the side practically out of the Championship race.
Now it will all be to play for in Old Trafford where Márquez will not be playing after getting a yellow card last night, but where Puyol will be back in the side after his suspension.
