Three Spaniards through to the third round of the Montecarlo Masters

There are four Spaniards through to the third round of the Montecarlo Masters tennis.
Rafa Nadal dominated his game against Mario Ancic – 6-0 and 6-3.
He will now meet Juan Carlos Ferrero in the quarter finals.
Ferrero beat the Finnish player Karkko Nieminen 6-3, 6-3.

David Ferrer from Calpe had no problems from Marat Safin, beating him 6-2, 6-3. Ferrer is seeded fifth in the championship and now meets the Serb, Janko Tipsarevic.

Nicolás Almagro beat Juan Mónaco 6-2, 3-0 when the Argentinean retired. Almagro goes on to meet Igor Andreev.

And finally Tommy Robredo beat the Swiss player Robin Soderling, 6-6, 7-6 (3) in a match where Robredo had to save two set points and took 1 hour 57 minutes to complete.
