The ex husband of a woman, in her mid-thirties, whose body was found in Málaga, has been released on bail after declaring before the judge in what appears to be yet another case of domestic violence in Spain.
The victim’s body, which showed signs of violence, including evidence of a strong blow to the mouth, was found in the swimming pool of her chalet in Alhaurín de la Torre.
The ex husband declared on Wednesday night after first going to the house with the Guardia Civil. His new girlfriend was also called to make a statement.
Sources in the Alhaurín de la Torre Town Hall have said the victim had placed several complaints about ill-treatment against the ex husband, and a sentence handed down in 2007 prohibited him from living with her in the villa, although a distancing order was not issued at that time, allowing the man to attend to exotic animals which he kept on the property.
Meanwhile in a separate incident a man who allegedly stabbed his partner to death in Rute in Córdoba has been arrested and charged with domestic violence. He has been named as 39 year old F.S.M. and is said to have a distancing order in place from the victim.
