Man arrested in Benidorm after woman falls to her death from a 12th story balcony

A man in his 60’s was arrested in Benidorm last night after a woman died after falling from the balcony of her home on the twelfth floor of a building in the town.

The woman had previously placed a complaint against her partner for domestic violence, a complaint which she later withdrew.

Reports in Información newspaper indicate that police were on their way to the scene following reports of a serious argument taking place in the flat in Calle La Pipa.

Police investigations continue to try and establish exactly how the woman fell to her death.
