Three die in road smash after four wheel drive vehicle is stolen in Palos de la Frontera

Three people have died in a tragic traffic accident in Huelva caused by a four wheel drive vehicle which had been stolen just ten minutes before.

The vehicle was robbed in Palos de la Frontera and was carrying three people at the time of the crash. Two of the occupants died in the impact which happened on the coastal road between Mazagón and Palos de la Frontera at the km19 point of the A-419 at 8,30pm last night. The third death was of a cyclist who was caught up in the accident when hit by a car which had in turn been hit by the stolen four wheel drive.

Police are now looking for the third occupant, described as a black man, who managed to make his escape from the crash scene on foot.
