Police in Málaga have found a man hiding in a wardrobe of a property that he was intending to rob. Police established that the man had forced the front door of the home to gain entry, and found local man Francisco G.C. hiding inside the property when called by the owners.
Meanwhile police in Fuengirola have arrested three people, two men and a woman, all in their early thirties, in connection with the kidnapping of a young couple who they had previously invited them to visit their home for a few days. The arrested group have apparently used the same scam elsewhere in the country, first picking a couple as their victim, then inviting them to their newly rented house, and then holding them captive with the intention of extorting money and robbing the visitors’ home.
The three people arrested all have a record of similar charges in the past.
