The Dutch ex trainer of Valencia, Ronald Koeman, has hit out against his old club from the safety of his homeland.
Speaking to Dutch television, Het Gesprek, he admitted that his own signing cost the club 1 million €, but went on the offensive against the Andalucian plaer Joaquín. ‘He is a player who cost Valencia 30 million € and his performance was worth 30 €’, claiming that Joaquín also supported the three players which he removed from the team, Albelda, Angulo and Cañizares.
‘These players’, continued Koeman, ‘did not play in the games, but trained every day with the rest of the team. This created a bad atmosphere in the dressing room’.
