Man kills his ex wife the day after signing the divorce papers

A man has shot dead his 39 year old ex wife on the day after signing the divorce papers. It happened in Sabadell, near Barcelona, and after killing his ex wife with a shotgun, the man tried to commit suicide.
He is now in the Parc Taulí Hospital.

Neighbours of the victim say that she had changed the locks on her home, fearing an attack from her ex husband.

The Catalan regional police, Los Mossos are investigating the exact circumstances of what happened.

So far this year in Spain, 28 women have died at the hands of their partners.
