Spanish Formula One driver, Fernando Alonso, has said that unless his R28 Renault car sees an improvement in the next two races, the team we consider the problem as impossible to resolve and centre their efforts on the new R29 car for next season.
Alonso says he wants to stay with Renault for 2009, but admits that he is pessimistic about the next race, the Canadian Grand Prix. He said the thought that Red Bull, Williams and Toyota teams were all in a similar position.
Meanwhile complaints have been made in Valencia ahead of the city’s first Formula One race round the new urban track in the port this August. Several fans have placed official complaints against the Credlimits S.L. company claiming it has kept their money for tickets paid online and that, according to El Mundo, the company’s website has now vanished. Many say they were promised confirmation when the entrance tickets go on sale, but that never happened. Company sources told El Mundo that they would be returning the money to the clients who they had been unable to find tickets for.
