The Partido Popular, the main opposition party in Spain, has come up with a new logo ahead of the party conference and the debate on its leadership which takes place in Valencia later this month.

The new logo removes the orange colour and is a light blue button with the letters P.P. and a white seagull on the blue background.
The design was put together by the P.P. deputy, José Antonio Bermúdez de Castro, and will be used from now on in public events.

Meanwhile the debate over the party leadership continues, with Juan Costa, the deputy who has been opening criticising Mariano Rajoy’s leadership saying today that he will help Rajoy if he obtained majority support in the Congress. Costa, who organised the last Partido Popular election campaign, said his decision not to stand himself was a firm one.
