The man at the centre of the Malaya corruption case in Marbella, Juan Antonio Roca, has been transferred from the Alhaurín de la Torre in Málaga to the Albolte jail in Granada.
Roca’s defence team say they do not know the reason for the transfer, but it could be linked to the oral hearing against Roca which is set for the Andalucian High Court of Justice, TSJA, in Granada for the 21-23 July.
Also appearing with Roca at that hearing will be the magistrate, Francisco Javier de Urquía.
Roca, who has now been held on bail in the case for more than two years and three months, has spent most of his time in Albolte.
