Man throws sister from third floor balcony in Las Palmas

A 29 year old man has been arrested in Las Palmas accused of throwing his sister from a third floor balcony.

The woman survived the fall from a block of homes in the town and is now in hospital where her injuries are not said to be life-threatening. She was initially unconscious following the fall.

Police are investigating the incident and say they are waiting for the victim to recover sufficiently to supply them with more details of the attack, thought to have taken place during a family argument.
