The assurance company which covered the four by four vehicle which was involved in the Benalmádena coach crash which saw nine Finish tourists lose their lives on April 19, has said it has raised 1.4 million € for those affected by the tragedy.
The money will be put at the disposition of those affected following the instructions from Instruction Court 1 in Torremolinos.
However already the coach driver’s legal team have described the 24,800 € he is entitled to as ‘totally insufficient’ as he has suffered severe head and chest injuries. Europa Press has also reported that the coach driver has been in a serious depression since the accident, and although he was not to blame in any way for the crash, he was responsible for the occupants of the bus.
