75 works of art linked to the Malaya corruption case are impounded in Madrid

National Police have recovered 75 works of art from several different locations in Madrid which are all allegedly linked to the Malaya corruption case in Marbella.
The swoops came on the orders of the Instruction Judge in the case, Oscar Pérez, from Instruction Court 5 in Mabella and works by Picasso, Miró and Tápies are said to be among those seized.
Some came from the headquarters of a group of companies based in Calle Goya in Madrid and linked to two businessmen, named with the intials C.S and A.L. who are in turned linked to the Malaya case.
An expert from the Junta de Andalucía is inspecting the paintings to establish their authenticity and value which is already estimated to be several million €.
